So my question is, if customer service won't help me, how do I get my promo code if the box isn't present. I asked how to speak to someone above him and he just said he was the highest and then I was 'disconnected due to network failure'. If you read this post the guy had the same problem, they gave him a new game key not a promo code. They gave me a new CD key which was not the code that I needed. I did just that and they didn't seem to understand that there was a CD Key which is registered to my Origin account and a separate promo code that is entered in game to unlock the limited edition content. In previous posts by people who have had this issue, they were directed to contact customer service. Nothing of relevance or game-changing has been added, and due to that, it’s better to just stick with the free base game. 9.99 is too much for such a small amount of content. I cannot find the box for my The Sims Medieval Limited Edition that has the promo code for the extra content. Because The Sims 4 base game is currently free and the deluxe edition currently goes for around 9.99, the upgrade is not really worth it.
